The world is flooded with all kinds of things that make it difficult for us to remember who we are in Christ. As a result of the confusion, many are yet to fully comprehend the truth about who they are in Christ as believers. However, the Scripture reveals the truth about who God created us to be. And the truth is that in Christ we’ve been brought to fullness with Him who is the head over every power and authority (Colossians 2:10).
Understanding this truth is the key to a successful Christian living and a life of purpose. Therefore, we’re to act and step out in the power and authority of who we are in Christ. One of the greatest privileges that we have in Him is His power which is always flowing in us and through us. The power that empowers and strengthens us to do all things.
Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for reminding me of who I am in you. I pray that this newfound knowledge will help me to live purposefully from this day henceforth.
